Photograph: John Phillips/UK Press via Getty Images The NHS’s public health boss is urging local councils and shopping centres to ban visits from Coca-Cola’s promotional Christmas trucks because of sugar’s key role in rotting children’s teeth and making them fat. Duncan Selbie, the chief executive of Public Health England, has criticised the soft drink giant’s annual PR stunt, in which 14-tonne lorries decorated with fairy lights and fake snow visit towns, cities and landmarks around the UK to advertise its products. John Steve Victory GREENWOOD John “Steve” Victory, 68, of Greenwood, IN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 26, 2017. He was born to the late John and Maxine Victory. Steve enjoyed preaching and studying the word of God. Steve also enjoyed fishing and loved to spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Steve married the love of his life Pamela Scott on July 6, 1968 in Chicago, IL. He was an United States Army veteran who fought in the Vietnam War. Steve devoted his life to his ministry for over 40 years. Steve is survived by his wife of 49 years, Pamela Victory; son, Steven “Bug” (Amanda) Victory; daughters, Shannon Agner and Dana McKinney; sister, Lillian Kotes; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Galaxy Note8 on Verizon gets camera improvements and KRACK fix with new update If you bought a Galaxy Note8 on Big Red, be sure to check your phone for updates. Verizon has announced it is rolling out an update for the Note8, containing changes to the camera app and various security fixes. The update has a build number of "NMF26X.N950USQU2BQJA," and includes the October 1 security patch level (an entire month behind, well done Verizon) and the fix for KRACK vulnerabilities. Beyond the security patches, there are a few modifications to the camera app.   When using the 'Live Focus' mode, the ready message is now bright yellow, the light and distance information is easier to read, and the back button now takes you back to the normal camera mode.
