Buenos Aires prosecutor shuts down Misionbet gaming site

Argentinean state-regulated iGaming site Misionbet.com.ar has reassured players about the security of their deposits after the site was taken offline Tuesday.
The closure is described as temporary by El Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos Sociedad del Estado (IPLyC), which operates the site in defiance of the national lottery association La Asociación de Loterías, Quinielas y Casinos Estatales de Argentina (ALEA).
In order to first launch the site in December 2015, the provincial lottery association withdrew from the national association ALEA, complaining that it had done little to support efforts to regulate online gaming in the country while being blind to unlicensed offshore operators.
